Revised National Security Clearance Policy to Secure Foreign Investments In June 2015, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), India has introduced the National Security Clause as an important component of the National Security Clearance Policy. It aims to extend fast-track security clearance to foreign investment proposals in the critical sectors such as telecom, private security and defence, while ensuring that national interests are not endangered.
