Security Watch India Membership

Security Watch India (SWI) is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization that addresses issues in the space of the relatively new homeland security sector. SWI works towards a secure tomorrow by enhancing security awareness and consciousness in Indian industry and civil society. SWI also guides and facilitates potential investors interested in the Indian homeland security business.

Through the SWI Membership we are trying to build a core group of selected individuals and businesses in India that are concerned with the security issues and are interested in making their businesses more secure and also for the global companies which are looking to enter into the Indian Homeland Security market. SWI will provide customized advice to businesses to ensure their competitiveness and efficiency.

SWI’s research team consists of experts from various fields like police, law enforcement, government, military, industry and young scholars.

Our mission is to assist in the transformation of the India homeland security apparatus to meet new security challenges by bringing in new technologies, training methods and awareness, through the involvement of the international homeland security industry. SWI is one of the few international platforms which provide forward-looking information for technology providers and investors about the emerging opportunities in the Indian homeland security market. This is done through a series of conference, seminars and meetings held across the globe.

SWI has been organizing conferences globally to create security consciousness among citizens, industry and the government. Creating the groundwork for improved homeland security, these conferences also serve as a vehicle to educate the stakeholders about state-of-the-art security methodologies, technologies and training programs.

SWI membership is open to individuals, corporations, other business entities, governmental agencies, not for profit organizations, and academic institutions. The Membership year is an annual membership year that runs from the date joined.
